We have an extensive fleet of equipment for any job, and our all-in-house, full turn-key capabilities set us apart—allowing us to manage every stage of a project with precision and accountability.
From barndominium builds, custom metal buildings, workshops, warehouses, agricultural structures, and site work to pipeline construction, underground utilities, excavation, civil infrastructure, mobile crane services, demolition, design-build services, and general contracting, we have the proven capacity to serve residential, commercial, municipal, and sovereign nation clients across Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming.
We don’t just build projects—we build relationships. Like the structures we create, our partnerships are designed to last the test of time, ensuring that every client receives sustainable value of their investment, reliable service, and construction excellence that endures for generations.
The Driving Force Behind 50 Years of Excellence
From the time George T. and Judy Weldon founded our company in 1975. Our purpose is to strengthen the communities we serve by building more than projects—we are building opportunities, meaningful relationships, and lasting impact through the services we offer. For five decades, we have committed ourselves not only to delivering a tradition of integrity and craftsmanship but also to give the highest level of quality construction that stands the test of time.
Our purpose also extends to our George T. Weldon Construction Employee Family. We believe in providing competitive pay and benefits and strong career opportunities for local talent to grow in their trade, to hone and gain skills, and in turn have the opportunity to take care of their families and obligations, all while driving economic sustainability across our region.
We believe community building goes beyond raising Metal Buildings, laying pipelines, and installing underground utilities. It also means supporting local charities, working alongside the Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce, partnering with the Uintah County Economic Development Team, collaborating with the APEX Accelerator Program, and engaging with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development. Being involved in these efforts allows us to advocate for the critical issues that shape our families and our community’s future—growth strategy, water resource management, maintaining public land access, and engagement in legislative action on Capitol Hill, and finding the balance between economic expansion and preserving the rural character that makes our region special.
At George T. Weldon Construction, our purpose is to keep our community connected and thriving. We build with integrity, excellence, and pride so that the benefits of our work endure not only today, but for generations to come.

By listening and collaborating, we combine our knowledge with theirs to achieve results that are stronger, smarter, and built to last. |
Pride
For Your Team And For Your Work
Every beam, weld, and trench reflects who we are and what we stand for. Pride means refusing to settle for “good enough” and holding ourselves to the highest standards. We build with care and intention as if our own families will rely on the results—because in many ways, they do. Our work is a direct reflection of our integrity, our skill, and the enduring commitment we carry into every project. |
Committed to Delivery
On Time, Every Time
Time is one of the most valuable resources in life and business. We honor our commitments by delivering when we say we will, not just because deadlines matter, but because dependability is the measure of respect we show to our customers, our team, and our word. By being on time, every time, we reinforce trust, strengthen partnerships, and prove that reliability is not a promise but a practice.
|
Positivity
In Good Times, With Each Other, and in Adversity
Challenges are part of every project, but negativity never solves them. We choose positivity as the mindset that drives creativity, collaboration, and resilience. Even in times of adversity, positivity fuels the determination to push forward, to find solutions, and to build momentum. It’s not about ignoring the obstacles—it’s about facing them with courage, optimism, and a belief that progress is always possible.

By valuing precision in every stage of the work, we carry forward a tradition of excellence that ensures our customers can count on results that are dependable, durable, and built right the first time.
|

Knowing We Gave The Best We Had To Give
Our work is not truly finished until our customers, partners, and team members are fully satisfied.
